Hmmmm.    Kuiper Belt Bourbon... for that 'out-of-this-world' experience?    I wonder if it possibly has actual "rocks" in it so you can drink it "on the rocks" straight from the bottle?

Never thought I'd say this, but these actually capture my attention. Here's to hoping they don't pull a Peerless with pricing and I'll be checking them out.

I absolutely love your explanatory one-liners on these linx, Kevin.  :D     They are priceless; yet quite helpful information. HA!  ?

I seem to recall Flatboat is a private label for the Liquor Barn stores (sourced from Barton).

I would give that a go, if price was reasonable.

I guess I'd have to buy it in KY.

Yet another Weller product most of us will never get a chance to purchase.

Weller Single Barrel (97 proof expression)
https://www.ttbonline.gov/colasonline/viewColaDetails.do?action=publicFormDisplay&ttbid=19344001000045

Like the Weller line needs another hard to find bottle in its lineup.

Also, the proof and alcohol percentage don’t add up. The label says 97 proof, but only 43.5% alcohol, which would be 93 proof, correct?

It actually says 46.5%, but your right, it should be 48.5%. I wonder which is correct.

Yea I was going to say the same thing essentially; this line is spread thin enough as it is, it seems...

Looks like theyre just doing exactly what they did with 1792. Cant blame em. Eventually maybe it will wear thin with the public (and me).

Mildly disappointed this got posted before I could do so with abundant snark, lol. Clearly with Weller languishing on shelves they needed to add another release to move stocks before they had a glut again.

Difference is they had lots of barrels of Barton bourbon to move, my understanding is that they are the easiest KSBW to procure by NDPs these days.

Semi-related.. seems odd that they wouldve removed the BIB from VOB if thats the case.. or at least throw the 6yrAS back on.

Why would they when they can call it 1792 and charge more.

Maybe they'll run out of different label colors.

Isn't this number six?  How will taters keep track of all those?

Holy History, Batman!  I LIVED THERE!!  Newburgh, that is.

In the mid-1950s, my Dad (a Navy person) was stationed at Stewart AFB near Newburgh as part of the "Eastern Air Defense Force".  As such, I was a Navy brat going to school, and socializing with, Air Force children.  It was life-changing.

ANYWAY, anything positive (or, to be more precise, NOT NEGATIVE;)) coming out of Newburgh brings back fond memories of an exceptionally naive childhood.

I may have to buy at least one just because.

Crazy, so did I!  Agreed, I'd like to try this now...

You would think a BiB label is one the TTB would make them have the proof correct for approval.

No Kiddin!   It cannot, by law, AFAIK be any proof other than 100, and still be labeled BiB.   Anybody hear of that rule changing?
