lcpfratn
Really like this one, some of the best under 100 proof. One of my favorites! I still have quite a few half gallons bunkered.
BMartin42
I had planned on Bookers being the last but climbing back down the ladder with John J Bowman. This is SO good. Caramel and chocolate covered cherries. Wow.
smokinjoe
Stopped by Antico Pizza in the Battery after the game to pick up a pizza to go, and had a Woodford at the bar while waiting for it. Loved it...again. Such an enigma. I never buy it (almost—Derby bottles for gifts). Never recommend it. Never even give it much thought. But dang, every time I have it on Delta, at a bar, at a party, at an event...I really like it. Perhaps it’s the environment that I’m drinking it, but whatever the reason, it’s enough to make me get a bottle for home consumption to dive into it more.

BigSkyDrams
Tonight I had four pours right to the midpoint on the bulb of my glencairn. First was my infinity bottle, which started as a WT101, Baby Saz, OF1920 blend at 3:2:1 ratio about 9 months ago, and since has received a dozen or more different 1-3 oz pours of nearly every bottle I’ve opened in that time. A few weeks ago, it was phenomenal. Tonight, still pretty good, solid on nose and palate, but a bit rough on the finish, with an unpleasant acetone kind of note... need to find something to balance that out. Next I finished off a WT101, which is always consistent quality. The consistency and complete balance at the price makes it the best value in bourbon, IMO. Third, I opened a Blantons picked by my local LS last year. It’s fantastic. My wife really enjoyed her few sips, commenting on similar profile notes as I found: caramel and orange zest, with a subtle tart finish that reminded me of craisins. She has better taste and smell acuity than me generally, so I was stoked our notes matched. Finished off with a Forged Oak I’ve been nursing for about six months. It was probably my favorite of the night, as I’ve been on an oak kick lately, but the Blanton’s is neck and neck. Overall, a pretty awesome evening. Happy Weekend! I am lining up a taste test of all my Barrell bourbon’s that I have open at the moment. I opened batch #18 at the LS today and it is damn good. Results later, if I can still type..... I'm going to say batch 14 is the best tonight. I think 18 might push it out of 1st place once it has some air time. Both are very good.
Wedelstaedt
WTKS PS. First go with this one. Has some of the great traditional Turkey notes. Will, need more time with the bottle. Cheers.

Photography is a hobby of mine though, so getting to combine that with some nice bourbon doesn't hurt.
Whiskeythink.com
Did a side-by-side of 2 different New Riff SBs last nite. I was suprised by the amount of difference. My buddy's bottle was much more rye forward, which is what I have found in NR in the past, & also hotter even tho both bottles are a tad over 111°. Meanwhile, my bottle was sweeter, especially in the finish. Mine had less taste on the palate, & didnt show its proof. We are going to repeat this in a few weeks & see if the bottles open up & change.

I have most of the recent batches but not all (there's too many of them). I'm not sure if I have 14, I'll have to check my bunker.
CardsandBourbon
Last night was some Willett 3 y.o. rye and a 4R SiB PS. Palate may have been off since both were OK but didn't really jump out to me.

hollywood
I’ve bought a couple of KC bottles lately, but in all honesty haven’t drank any in several years. Opened up this KCSmB 100 for a pour this afternoon.. Nose was pleasant with a pronounced brown sugar of a typical bourbon, had a small hint of nuttiness and undetermined spice, these same notes continued through the finish. The finish wasn’t too short, but much shorter then I’d expected.. I didn’t detect as prominent of oak and char as with some other Beam products profiles. I will say that it did display some legs that a super model would have been envious of. Nice!

Obeezy1Kaneezy
It’s not bad really. I think it’s worth it’s $30 it’s demanding. Nose is just okay, but I get a sweet dusty cream going on in this one. Love the look of the bottle.

I bought the first 82? proof version and was greatly under-whelmed, esp considering the price. Then ET BIB restored my interest in other-than-Old Forester bourbon from B-F (big fan of most Old Forester).
pyro273
The wife brought this one home. Don't think I would have even looked at this given the name......when I first tried it I didn't think it was all that bad for a low proof rye but now I'm not so sure. Might be one for the cocktail shelf.
