Definitely a well rounded player, mature, silky smooth on the court with just enough bite to keep things interesting!

Just don’t “double dribble”.. ;) no harm with double “gobbling” however. :)

Oh chit! Busts out the split label on a random Thursday night. Cheers!

I’m enjoying some ECBP C917 while watching Truck Night in America.

Each of these had their special qualities. I made notes of my ratings based on Nose, Palate and Finish which are evaluated equally. The finish is really important to me and all actually delivered. This was hard to score but here are the final results:

#1 - OF1897

#2 - EHTSB

#3 - HMK

#4 - 1792 BIB

OF hit all the right notes tonight and wow what an excellent finish. Around my area this product sells for $49.99 which is the most expensive out of the bunch in my market. Honestly EHT and HMK are toss ups. Both have a great balance are the best in their class. 1792 fell flat in some areas but the mouthfeel and finish were noteworthy. I had fun with it and will do it again.

Thanks for the feedback.  Your results don't surprise me.  I've really enjoyed the 1897 that I tried before.  Makes me want to open one from the bunker now.   I've noticed that OF tends to do well in SBS because of the extra fruit notes seem to make it stand out from the pack with something a little different.

Sorry, I can't help but be distracted by that cherry red Les Paul in the background. Nice axe!

Cheers,

Nancy

Woah, that Les Paul. Exceedingly uncomfortable to play, but so very attractive. Also awesome flight.

Wait - alert the press - we have a Jack sighting!!  Hope you're doing well chief!

Kicked off this fine Friday evening with some WTMK Revival.  If anyone is taking notes - this is what I want in a "finished" bourbon.  Damn nice bourbon as more than the foundation; that's 90-95% of what you get, with a little dark fruit/sherried nuance to make it unique.  Well done Turkey!  (we'll ignore that Longbranch and Forgiven nonsense for now) ;)

That 12 yr sig was pretty impressive; not sure why they don't have a standard 12 yr offering yet.  Between that and JB Distiller's Cut, I could be quickly be a convert (and would have lost a lot of money betting against that!)

Anderson, SC, huh?  I pulled some good bottles out of there 8-10 years ago.  I still think I have an OGD Bicentennial bottle from Anderson.  There was so much good stuff back in the day all around that area (Spartanburg, Greenville, etc).  Cheers!
