Beautiful car!

And those maroon sun visors!

That’s the kinda stuff that comes back in some form, in the future, through good deeds.

Thanks-- still hanging on the the one that none of the kids (nor wife) would left me sell.

Went searching for a CEHT Barrel Proof as a gift for the couple looking after our kids late next week... found that and more. The fact that these bottles all basically look the same is a benefit.

Its funny you picked this up, I passed on it (because I don't think I would like it, I'm sure I'm wrong, butt...) and picked the EHTBP instead.

Just picked up some KCSiB 120 Proof at the BX Shoppette...$29.60 each (with no tax).  It’s regularly $34.60 and usually goes on sale for $30.60, but they rarely have any in stock.  Got lucky today!  IMHO, this is one of the better bargains still out there.  ?

After several years of resistance, I finally broke down and bought a bottle of CEHT SiB. The Small Batch has always been one of my favorites, but there is such a price difference between the two. To my recollection this is the most I've ever paid for a bottle of Bourbon ($72). Also picked up a bottle of Skrewball Peanut Butter Liqueur for sh*ts and giggles to try in some cocktails.

Usually you can't beat the BX but when there is a sale, there is nothing better.

Purchased and uncorked today.  $47, reasonable for this area.  Not found very often here either.

This morning just purchased a 1792 sweet wheat online from K&L. First time I’ve ever seen it. Looking forward to trying it.

Had an Elmer follow me home today. Went to a store to pick up something else and this caught my attention. Had forgotten they were releasing this bottle.

Congrats!  I’m very envious.  I was really hoping to run down one of these but I’ve been told that our great state of Wyoming is getting none of it - zip, nada.  ?

You know, the ONLY thing that irritates me about where I live is that no liquor store within 30 miles in either direction can get EH Taylor.

I thought requesting items that arent as sought as say BTAC, ETL, Blantons, etc would help but every store I have gone to has told me they hardly can get the regular EH Taylor and they havent seen Single Barrel or Barrel Proof on any order sheets and that they havent been able to get them at all in the last year or so. I managed to find the regular one but the store said they were only sent 2 and werent even expecting those.

Went to pick up a bottle of Beam this morning in a show of support for them after their fire.  I then noticed the 1792 Single Barrel, so felt compelled to get it too, as a show of support for Barton from their rickhouse collapse.  And then, I saw the Four Roses Yellow Label, and figured if I bought it now, that might reverse Karma things, and prevent something bad from happening there...  If this works for 24 hours, I’ll go back and get a BT, Maker’s, Rittenhouse, Kentucky Spirit, Old Forester, Dickel, and Daniel’s tomorrow.  I feel I owe it to them...  :D

My work is now complete. With a recent purchase of Early Times, and now a family sized Larceny, I have saved the final two distilleries from mayhem.  I went big on the Larceny because the recent brush fire at Deatsville was a little too close for comfort and Max Shapira tore me a new one for lallygagging around on them...Said, if I didn’t get my lazy ass moving and pick up an HH bottle pronto, the closest thing GBS would get to a private pick in the future would be a half pint of HPNOTIQ...

Yes sir!!  Going now, SIR!!!!!

:D

My unicorn hunting expedition in Larrytown, AKA Lawrence, KS, last night was unsuccessful. The store clerks told me that the boss man keeps the hard to find stuff in his office and doles it out to a waiting list. It's a bummer.

Summer seems to have deserted us here on the Middle Coast. I've actually started to take out the Flannel shirts and checked the thermals. I turned on the furnace for the first time yesterday and it's still on this morning. In order to have the right attitude for what is expected to be a "Polar Coaster" winter, the big boy whiskeys are going to be served more often. So before I left the LS, I paid for a bottle of OGD114. Better to have it and not need it than to want it and not have it.

Picked this up this morning... $64 ?

This is getting out of hand... W-12 I found last week was $74...

At least my Weller shelf is filled back up, shouldn’t need to buy another one for a while... 1.75 in the back was $52...

Nice. How much?

$45. Pricey when compared to the old BiB or even HMcK10. Figured I’d give it a shot and decide if I’ll bother with it again.
