Hand selected of Maker’s Mark from the 60’s

I love finding old, unopened bottles at estate sales. 

This is one of my latest finds. 

 

The estate sale company said it’s from 1964 (I’ve dated it anywhere from 1961 to 1976). 

 

Funny thing is is the name on it, Dick Cointment.  If you say it fast enough, it reads dick ointment. 

 

Im not sure if I’ll ever open this

my other find is this old bottle of Southern Comfort 100 proof. I’ve dated it from 1961 to 1976 as well. I’m trying to find out when SC started putting UPC codes on their bottles.

I would definitely open a bottle of Dick Cointment.  You can never have too much of that stuff.
