Hello! Please see attached photos. I found this a long time ago buried in an attic. Curious if anyone can identify it? It is Jim beam and comes with the original box as well, but I can’t find it online. It’s empty unfortunately, but still has paper tags, etc.

During the "whiskey glut" (1960s - 1970s) Jim Beam made lots of different decanters to sell their whiskey.  You can look at Ebay under Jim Beam decanters to see what people are asking and getting.

I think it's cool, but maybe not worth a fortune.

Many of the ceramic decanters were not meant for long term storage.  If it was full, the whiskey might be bad, as in contaminated with lead from the ceramic glaze.

You have a great decorator or collector item.

The last couple of old Beam Decanters I found I paid $25.00 for. FWIW, they just so happened to be full. 😐

Some are painted glass rather than ceramic.  Those are probably safe to drink, as long as they were stored properly, not on their side etc..., and the cork is intact.
