PaulO Posted April 27, 2021 Share Posted April 27, 2021 Here's the thing, back in those days bottles were not made by machine. They were hand made. A bottle was valuable and was used over and over. Whiskey was sold from barrels. Customers often brought their own vessel and got it filled. Whatever is embossed on the bottle only indicated where the bottle was originally destined.
