There was one from Binny’s with their latest sales and deals. I had just driven by Binny’s when I was out and about. Oh well. My wife got home, and just as she got home, the mailman dropped off the mail. My wife grabbed the mail and came in the house. As she started going through the mail, she handed me an ad. It was a flyer from Binny’s. It was the same as the email I received. I figured it had to be a sign. Off to Binny’s we went. I bought two bottle of MM @ $19.99 each, with a bonus of two bottle of Maraschino Cherries @ 1¢ each. I also purchased two bottles of BT Bourbon Cream @ $17.99 each, along with two six packs of Freddie’s Root Beer for 1¢ each. Not a bad days retirement. He's the cigar guy, just starting to get interested in Bourbon. After our discussions, he said he got: Old Forester 100, Four Roses SB, and WT 101. Some of the cherries are destined for friends, and probably a bottle of the MM, too. scott t Posted December 9, 2021 Share Posted December 9, 2021 (edited) ive been doing some blending over the past few months. very good success with 2/3 wt 101 and 1/3 dickel 12. yesterday did a 4/5 overholdtt rye and and 1/5 JD Honey and let it sit over night. almost a maple and brown sugar oatmeal finish on this mix. the nose has a smell like a pipe blend called 'rum runner'....awesome. two fingers and one small ice cube. very tasty little mixture at reasonable cost.
