sdavis527
Need some help with an EH Taylor 18yr Marriage bottle I just got. I'm looking and don't see a laser tag on it anywhere. Been up and down the bottle and can't find one. Any way to know if this would be counterfeit or not or if I'm just being paranoid.
fishnbowljoe
Did you buy it from a reputable liquor store?
0895
It will either be etched into the glass near the bottom (hold up to light to see), or in black ink. Edited March 27, 2022 by 0895

B.B. Babington
misleading post! I thought "help with bottle" was "help with drinking the bottle." I've seen several BT bottles missing code, just looked for one on a recent ER10 and nothing. Like 0895 suggested, sometimes they are hard to find. Also, laser code presence means zilch for counterfeit as they often use empty bottles. Look at the seal, compare it to internet pics, they look the same?
fishnbowljoe
I’ve seen laser codes behind labels before. Sometimes they’re on the rim along the very bottom of the bottle and can be hard to see.
