Been looking for this one, but not willing to pay $500 plus. The RR13 has been a favorite pour of mine since they arrived, and I have been lucky enough to put a few back at a fair price, as well as finding one single rickhouse CNF at retail. Cannot wait to see how the RR15 compares!

Just to be clear,  RR = "Russel's Reserve,"  correct?   I think they need to add this one to the "Abbreviation" linking list (i.e. BT = Buffalo Trace).

If it is not there in any form, I agree that it should be.  But, I would suggest WTRR for additional clarity.

Pretty much the going rate for the moment. I think once other limited editions release like btac, four roses, HH etc it's gonna drop down a bit by September or October.

Picked up a new addition to the bunker yesterday, but stopped by my nearby Smith & Wollensky steak house on my way home to share some with S&W staff and friends.  RR15 (a/k/a WTRR15) for $259.99 OTD (NO sales tax on booze in Taxachusetts!  ) .  Unbelievable dram for the money!  Great stuff.  But I don't want to brag and show off with a family pic of any other RR15 bottles that may or may not have made it safely back to the bunker . . . . . .   

 

Next up?  A SBS with last year's RR13/WTR13 . . . . .

Very glad some SBrs are getting this and not at a premium, to be opened and enjoyed. I doubt I’ll ever see one but for my fellow WT fans, this one sounds quite delightful. Slainte!!

The window to find this was in October/November, before Fred Minnick named it as his whiskey of the year.  It immediately jumped from $350-400 up to $600+ on all the secondary raffle sites after that. 

I talked a store into letting it go for $300 in early November, and I'm kicking myself now for not trying to do that at every store I saw it in...because I 100% agree with Fred, it was the best thing I tasted in 2024.

Got mine back in August for 269.99 plus tax so pretty much right at 300 after.  I think its the most expensive bottle I've ever purchased.
