BUFFALO TRACE DISTILLERY RELEASES THE 2004 ANTIQUE COLLECTION

FRANKLIN COUNTY -

It's back! The popularity of Buffalo Trace Distillery's Antique Collection continues to grow as we mark the fifth year of its release. The collection is scheduled to hit stores in September and consists of:·

George T. Stagg, 15 year (Barrel proof) § Around 129 proof this year§ Distilled in May 1988. Aged in Warehouse Q·

Eagle Rare 17 year old § Distilled in April of 1987§ Aged in Warehouses I and H·

Sazerac Rye 18 year old § Distilled in October of 1985§ Aged in Warehouse K

As consumers and critics discover the whiskeys of the Antique Collection the list of awards continues to grow. George T. Stagg was named "2004 World Whiskey of the Year" by famed whiskey writer Jim Murray, in his 2004 Whiskey Bible. Malt Advocate Magazine also named Stagg "Whiskey of the Year" in 2002, while Sazerac Rye took home that title in 2001.
