The Food Network (on cable TV and http://www.foodtv.com) is advertising a re-run of a special they ran a few months ago called "Dining on the Train". I believe I caught some of this when it ran the first time.

They spend an hour looking at three operating train lines that have been converted to restaurants, one of which is "My Old Kentucky Dinner Train" (the others are in Napa Valley and on Cape Cod). The Kentucky train is

an out-and-back tour and dinner through bourbon country, and the show includes some tourist-type looks at the local flavor and history. Booker Noe is a guest/host for part of it.

My internet TV guide says the program will run this Sunday (1/7) night at 9PM and midnight, Saturday (1/13) afternoon at 4PM, and Sunday (1/14) morning at 11AM. I don't remember if the Kentucky segment is early or

late during the show.

Nothing deep, but worth a look if you're near the tube...

Thanks EZ for the info on the Old Kentucky Home Dining Train. The Kentucky segment comes on in the last 20 minutes of the program and for those of you that have never been to Bardstown it does give an idea of what the town is like.
