T47 Posted January 23, 2006 Share Posted January 23, 2006 This is my favorite dessert. Had to share it with you all somewhere, but its not a bourbon based recipe. Black Russian Cake 1 box yellow cake mix½ C. sugar1 box (about 6 oz.) chocolate instant pudding mix1 C. vegetable oil4 eggs¼ C. vodka¼ C. Kahlua¾ C. waterPam sprayPour all liquid ingredients into dry ingredients at one time. Beat for 4 minutes. Pour mixture into bundt pan, sprayed with pam. Bake 45-50 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool about 10 minutes, then invert pan. Poke holes in the top so that the glaze can soak into the cake. Glaze: ½ C. powdered sugar and ¼ C. kahluaMix together and let stand while cake is cooling Pour over cake. Dust with extra powdered sugar when cake is completely cool.
