Jim Beam Brands Worldwide, the spirits and wine business of consumer

products company Fortune Brands (NYSE: FO), has won the most prestigious award

in the spirits industry, International Distiller of the Year.

Awarded by the International Wine & Spirit Competition (IWSC), the

industry's premier competition, International Distiller of the Year recognizes

the distiller who demonstrates the highest qualities in a range of spirits

brands. The Jim Beam Brands portfolio of premium and super-premium brands

displayed that broad excellence in capturing 27 medals, one third of the total

prizes at the IWSC. Among the company's brands earning medals were Jim Beam -

the world's #1 bourbon - Booker's small batch bourbon, Baker's small batch

bourbon, and several varieties of The Dalmore single malt Scotch, Whyte and

Mackay blended Scotch whisky and Tangle Ridge blended Canadian whisky.
