Straightbourbon.com is an online community dedicated to all things bourbon. Conceived of in 1995 by Jim Butler, a California based computer programmer, then brought online as an “information only” website in 1997 by the Web Services division of Limit Point Systems, Inc. The social networking elements were added in September of 1999, and the community has thrived both in the digital realm and the “real” world since.
