It was an expensive evening tonight. Picked up a MMCA 24, a Little Book Infinite 24, and 2 more of the Keeper release plus paying for dinner. Dinner came with 2 cocktails, 4 store pick pours , and a pour of Keeper's . Also pre purchased one of the store picks that was really good . Passed on the 25 Chapter 9 of Little Book. At least we got some rocks glasses and hats for free.

Well try this then. My wife, her sister and their best friend had a ladies week vacation in Florida last year. She saw that bottle in a liquor store and had to buy it for me. Yeah, it cracked me up too.

Had lunch at a pub yesterday and washed down my burger with a Russian River Happy Hops IPA. Despite my recent trend towards lighter beers I will still never pass on a chance to have any IPA from RR. They just hit different.

The longer I go in the bourbon world, the more I really think that I'd be absolutely fine with just Wild Turkey and nothing else. I'm by no means anywhere close to trying everything, but so many times the hunt turns out to be not worth the effort or the money, and I find myself gravitating back to the flock. WT101 for cheap mixer and daily sipper WTRB for sharing or a weekend step-up pour RRSB Store Picks (especially from CN whse) or WTKS for a celebratory/holiday pour RR13 or 15 (if I could find one every few years) for a truly special occasion/life-changing event pour I did pick up some WT8 for $42 on Monday while out of town for work. Had to mail it to my house as I didn't have any checked luggage. Can't wait to try it against WT101 and the 70th anniversary bottle I have, although I don't expect it to blow them away.
