I decided to look at what Knob Creek 15 year and 18 year were going for. I figured those are the Beam products of similar age to compare. Of course, if a very small amount is released, we know what will happen $$$. Only hope it's not low proof like BH. Honestly, I think OGD B.I.B. with an 8 year age statement and NCF would be a home run.

When you think about it, it's amazing that the bean counters at Campari haven't already messed it up. I don't know if the Russells are responsible for keeping it what it is, but I like to think so. It still kicks the a&$ of most bourbons twice its price. -

I don't care how many different LE releases they put out. Just don't f*** this up. -

My man! That bourbon is the best known to man! People searching high and low for Pappy are misguided and mistaken. IMHO, WT101 kicks Pappy's ass six ways to Sunday. Yet, the best whiskey is always the whiskey in your hand. In this case, WT101. Enjoy! -
Alcohol kills brain cells. Think of it as thinning the herd of the weak ones. The more you drink, the smarter you get. I woukl know. I have been down that road often.

Oh, I was thinking the road less travelled would involve Canadian Whiskey. I guess Bourbon Cream might be another road less travelled. -

My two son's birthday's are 14 days apart so we took them to a nice higher end Italian restaurant tonight. They are both adults so we enjoyed a nice meal with cocktails and dessert. I had two double pours of KC neat. Solid pours in wine goblets. Home now and enjoy a couple of pours of WT101. Both are favorites and both are equally enjoyable. Watching James Taylor on PBS. JT is always a solid listen. WT101 is always a solid pour. -
This, if it ever actually does come to market, would be one I'd interested in tasting. 16-years is quite a long time in wood, though. But, if aged artfully, and proofed at something interesting (100 or more), this could get me to open my wallet, while many other "new" products from the Bourbon World have failed to get me to do so, at the prices they've been asking.

We've all been there, I bet. More frequently than even we know... or are willing to admit, maybe. So, maybe this Meme is more sage than funny? Hmmmmm

This is fantastic stuff. It's a Frankenstein's blend of Tumbling Dice (high rye MGP), 6-year cask strength Clyde May, Driftless Glen and Russell's Reserve Rye (6-year) . It's just about the best stuff on the bar and it's gone to the point I need to add something to it. But I don't want to monkey with it just yet - it's that good . -

That's good at least working on Edge. I believe some of the default pop-up suppression settings in Firefox are more restrictive than Edge too. Not sure but you could check that as well. -

Still having the same problems today. I think it's a Firefox issue. I'm viewing it now on Edge.
