boss302
I was paging through the StraightBourbon.com list of brands and came across a bunch by this maker. I've never heard of them, and NONE of their products are available in my state. As a Bardstown distiller, how well do their products stand up to the other "Bardstown Boys" (Barton, Heaven Hill, etc.)? BourbonJoe
KBD is not a distiller (well not yet anyway) although they are working on getting their still up and running. They are essentially Rectifiers who purchase bourbon and rye from other distilleries, age it and bottle it for sale. Some of KBD's brands and whiskes are excellent, others just so so.Joe :usflag:
cowdery
Most of their whiskey, especially for their major brands, comes from the guys across the street, Heaven Hill.

I find them to be quite good, especially for the price!
craigthom
And when Chuck says "across the street", he means it. You can see their warehouses (I think) from the parking lot of the Bourbon Heritage Center. Their driveway is down the hill just past the burned out Heaven Hill distillery.
