Rughi
Just when I've secured all the Four Roses 120th we'll need and thought my wallet was safe for awhile, I suddenly remembered there will be many other special releases to be considered as well. I'm trying to list all the special releases that have just been or soon will be released. I'm sure this is chock full of errors and omissions, but here is what I came up with off the top of my head:Buffalo Trace:HandyLarueStaggER17Saz18 (+)BTEC?Forester:Birthday BourbonRepeal BourbonFour Roses:120th (pretty much finished)Mariage #1Heaven Hill:Parkers 2nd Release (27yo?)KBD:Party Source WillettsMore Ace/Jake Willetts?Other Willetts?Wild Turkey:?Barton:?Please add to and correct. For myself, I'm excited about the Handy, Larue and Mariage bottlings, plus I've got my ear to the ground on what Willetts will be happening. I may propose to the EBSG that we go in together on a Repeal. Despite having read interesting reviews of it, it sounds like it's meant (and priced) more as a display than a drinker.A certain Bay Area Expatriate friend of mine was talking up the Birthday Bourbon awhile back, where in previous years we rarely even let it on the table. I think it must have some synergy with the Kentucky climate.Roger

jinenjo
This is what I like about having "bourbon buddies": he'll get some, I'll get some, someone else'll get some...:cool:Everyone at least gets to taste! As for the OF Repeal, Roger, I'd be curious to match it with either a vintage Forester or something even from prohibition time. chouffe62
Oscar:The Willett 25 yr is a bourbon, limited to an edition size of 96 and bottled at a proof of 90.2. I believe Mission Liquor & Wines still has it for $169.99.John Hansell has a review of it located on his blog at:http://blog.maltadvocate.com/2008/09/16/review-willett-family-reserve-bourbon-25-yr-oldCheers,Scott

WsmataU
From Priess imports....Mind you I think they have lost their minds.:slappin: _______________________Here is the estimated retail pricing on those two; bear in mind these are two of the oldest bourbons on the market. 28 yr $45025 yr $260Reserve $30 These will likely be priced below this, but better to be higher than lower when estimating. These will be available in the market within 30 days.
