Jono
Thanks for that link...you sum up the EW black:"It's a great cheapo bourbon...not rough, not overly pleasant. middle of the road...what you usually pay 15-17 bucks for you get for 11. However, the bourbon that offends no one can also delight no one."Probably worth a try....especially for the $.
Attila
If this happened, and I'm sure it won't, we can only hope it remains reasonably priced like the 6 year, imo, is! I've also heard about a 15 year expression that was export only but, much like with the 8 year, I've never even seen the label. We should ask Virus of Life his opinion of FC15 in a couple of weeks. FC runs about 30 bucks here in Japan.

Great on the rocks, great when mixed (not that I do). As OscarV says, "it's got a great minty finish."
gothbat
You can see a bottle here:http://www.bourbonenthusiast.com/forum/DBvd.php?id=71&task=displaybottlingCool, thanks; I've never seen that one before!FC runs about 30 bucks here in Japan.Wow, more than twice the age but just under $10 more in price than what I pay makes the one we have here almost seem like a bad deal! I think I'll pick up a 6yr sometime soon, it's been a while for this one since the likes of Weller Antique 107 showed up and this thread has got me thinking about it again! JamesW
I like the Old Fitz BiB for ~ $15 and Weller Special Reserve for ~ $14. These would be my underated, underpriced, go-to pours.
mozilla
Early Times KSBW, both the yellow and brown lablel (the brown seems a little smoother, but the labels are identical except in color). Both bottom shelf cheap, both very drinkable. Is that the export you are referring to? The version here in the States is not a KSBW.
Josh
I would have to say Old Whiskey River is the most underrated. No, it's not good, but it's not as bad as ppl say it is. I actually prefer it to some of the big name, big $$$ super premiums. That said, it still kinda blows. I'd pick EW black or JB white over it if I had a choice.
