nor02lei
I did get a Johnny Drum 15 in a parcel from Germany just recently. Or at least that was what I thought. I did pop it open a few days ago and poured into a glass. I got a smaller shock when I saw the light collar of the whiskey. I have had 2 bottles of JDr15 before and the collar had been dark red and very intense. The taste had been very chewy, fruity and with a lot of wood influence without being over woody. This one is very gentle, and smooth but with not much flavours in it and nothing sticking out. I would guess its pretty young. When I did look closer on the bottle there were no age statement. When I did look back at the store homepage it said Johnny Drum private stock 101 proof and therefore I have myself to blame. Is there anybody else that got any experience of this no age JDr version?Leif
