bluesbassdad
I hope all of you young buckaroos notice the way Linn is holding the weapon. The muzzle is pointed in a safe direction, and his trigger finger is outside the trigger guard. Even with no magazine inserted he is following the rules for safe gun handling.Way to go, Linn. You're a poster boy in more ways than one!Yours truly,Dave Morefield
jeff
aahh the M60. That was my second favorite weapon during basic training. My favorite was the M203, which is a combination M16 semi automatic rifle with a grenade launcher attached to the underside. Unfortunatly I was a combat medic/pharmacy specialist, so after training I spent most of my time in the hospitals = No Guns
Guest **DONOTDELETE**
"Ahh an M60" NOT! It is a S.A.W. (S.quad A.utomatic W.eapon) and fires the same 222 caliber ammo as the M-16. It can be either belt fed or use any M-16 column magazine. Very cool and the first time I was able to go hands on with one. Fully Automatic Firearms => You just gotta luv 'em! jeff
My bad, it looks similar to the M60, I guess I didn't look close enough. Now that I look at it again it is a little small Does it take a magazine? I guess it does after re-reading your description. From the picture it looks like just a side belt loader. I remember one day on the automatic range I was manning the M60. Have you ever seen a barrel glowing red? You have to change it after so many rounds or it will literally melt and backfire. Burnt the sh*t out of my hand one time changing it The most fun I think I had though was one night on the night-fire range. Every 5th round in my m16 magazine was a tracer. Since I was the last at the station, my drill sergeant wanted me to shoot up all of the excess rounds. I did that and then he gave me a 100 round drum magazine to finish off. I set my rifle to auto and lit up the sky. Tore that pop-up target to hell
