This trivia question was in our quarterly newsletter...

I don't have a clue :skep:

Apollo 11 successfully landed on the moon in July 1969. It was the mission of Apollo 8, however, that paved the way for Apollo 11 to fulfill President John F. Kennedy's goal of landing a man on the moon before the end of the decade.

Apollo 8 astronauts Frank F. Borman II, James A. Lovell, Jr. and William Anders were in orbit on Christmas Eve. Which current Heaven Hill brand was included in their meal that night?

Jim Lovell took a small bottle of Coronet Brandy on Apollo 8. Is that currently a HH product? I have always been a bit of a space nut as I worked for Charles Duke when I was in college.

This bottle has been auctioned off a few times as I recall. There was actually a bottle for each Apollo crew member, but Borman told the crew to wait till they got home to drink them.
