Mawby.I still have a bottle of Blanc de Blanc sparkling we got from there. We'll take that to a party we are going to for midnight.

callmeox
Whatever I happen to pick out of my cabinet I guess. We normally lay low on NYE since it has turned in to amateur night around here. Probably a cheap dinner out and then a movie at home.
ThomasH
I'll be working until midnight so mine will be a little late. I'll probably just draw a name out of the hat. Wish me luck that I don't come across one of those check points. I'm in no danger of going to jail, I just don't like being hassled!Thomas
ACDetroit
I'll be having a Coke as I will be at work :hot: But happy New Year to everyone have fun and drink one for me.I will be sure to do that Paul! ratcheer
We are invited to a very nice party, but it is in an area where the police are known to be fairly aggressive at catching offenders. So, while I may have a couple of drinks early on (say, 8 to 9 PM or so), I will probably not be having anything around midnight. Oh, well.Tim
SBOmarc
When I get home at 2-3 AM, it will be after a long night of watching everyone else get imbibe way too much. I will be sitting it out all the way. Working one of those one price hotel parties, amateur night to be sure.
hjminard
Something in the Wild Turkey family, I imagine. We'll be at the in-laws, and my pops-in-law has some RR (alas, it is the 90) and some 101. He is a WT diehard (the only bourbons he drinks, in fact). Or perhaps I'll bring along some RB. ILLfarmboy
" Amateur night" is about right.I don't want to be worried about being hit by some idiot who doesn't know his limit or being stopped by a cop. We'll be staying home.My wife's 40th birthday is Saturday. So, instead of having a party on new year's eve where our guests will be invited to crash here, as we sometimes do, we'll have her birthday party on the third and do likewise. gothbat
Who knows what bottle I'll be reaching for, I probably won't open anything new since I already have a bunch open, I lean towards finishing a Saz18 at the moment though. Keeping with tradition I'll start drinking champagne a little before 12, finish a little after, and then move to whiskey; this year I got a 1/2 bottle of Krug Grand Cuvee Brut. 55bill
For us on the birth of 2009, it's going to be Old Fo' Birthday Bourbon, barreled in 1993 and bottled in 2006. Jeez I love that. Cheers to all!
fishnbowljoe
Not sure yet. I'll post later. Probably some stuff from the BTAC. Trying to finish off a bottle of WR now. Joe

Special Reserve
Lot B has been my first bourbon of the year for several years now. It remains a great choice.I didn't have an open bottle and not wanting to raid the bunker, I made a purchase today. All that talk about this years version being outstanding, well, I agree. Although...Recently, I've been drinking GTS08 the taste buds need recalibration. Will
