Jim Rutledge of Four Roses is teaching a four session bourbon continuing education course at the University of Louisville Shelby campus:

I'm tempted, but, honestly, between this site and all the events I've been to where Rutledge has spoken I figure I've already heard a lot of it.

The Shelby campus is at Hurstbourne and Shelbyville, so you'll be just a few miles north of that Liquor Barn.

I just received this notice in an e-mail as well. I have never had the pleasure of meeting Jim Rutledge. I might just sign up for this, should be fun!

I wonder if they will offer an online course for Bourbon lovers outside the area? They could film it, charge the same amount and reach a larger audience.

I was thinking 799, but any x99 lab class is good :D

They tend to charge more for grad-level classes...
