After eating dinner at a fairly new restaurant my wife ordered a Baileys and coffee with the waitress. She gave my wife a funny look and asked her to repeat her order 2 more times. It took quite a wile for the drinks to come back. When they did, arranged quite nicely next to my wife's cup of coffee were 2 BAY LEAVES.:skep:

First night on vacation we stopped to eat dinner and have a drink before heading to the place we were staying. As we were being seated, I scanned the bourbon selection at the bar. :bigeyes: They had Blanton's. Choice made. When our waitress (finally) came, I ordered Blanton's. Later, (much later) the waitress brought everyone else's drinks and told me they didn't have Blanton's. I went up to the bar and asked the bartender about the Blanton's. She said they didn't have any. I pointed out the bottle. All she said was,"Oh." I ordered some with two ice cubes and a splash of water. In the mean time, our waitress went home, and another waitress took her place. Later, (again, much later) my drink arrived. Either the ice melted or I got it straight up. Anyway, it was good. When it came time to pay the bill, the waitress tried to charge us for a meal we didn't order. When we got that straightened out, she split the bill in half, rather than for each couple. :skep: We paid and headed out. The sad thing was that the place wasn't even busy. Oh well, at least the food and bourbon was good, and the company was excellent. Joe
