Hirsch Selection Small Batch Reserve

I have searched this site and others and really can't get much info on this bottle.

I came across a single bottle at a small shop the other day and since I never seen it before I decided to take a chance on it. Priced at $36 so rolled the dice.

I am pretty sure that comments back will tell me there are much better bottles at this price.

I think it's a four year old whiskey, sure tasted young.

any thoughts or details would be great.

I've never tasted it, but Hirsch is now a brand bottled by Preiss Imports. I don't know who they buy the actual Bourbon from.

One of the other "Hirsch" bottles says "Bardstown, KY" at the bottom.

Seeing as how Tom Moore was recently bought, I'd put my money on Heaven Hill.

Is there anyone Heaven Hill DOESN'T distill for?

I've had some of the original bottlings of Hirsch but am not inclined to pay a premium for the newer stuff.
