Empty Bottle Support Group Spring '09

Crushed a JTS Brown BIB last night. I thought it was okay, but would not repurchase (even if I had access to it). I forced the last half of the bottle over the past couple of weeks as it's not something that I would really return to unless I was making a point to finish it.

Just killed my first bottle of OGD BIB. Not a bad pour for the price.

Next? I have my sights set on a bottle of OWA 107.

Killed of this bottle of RR Rye this morning was not a favorite of mine but this last pour taste pretty good. Maybe it's just because it's been a six day week and anything would taste good this morning or maybe I got used to it. Either way I don't think I'll buy it again WT Rye is better and cheaper. May order a Saz jr down the road though.

My bottle of EWSB was finished last night. Note the passive tense. I understand it was good; I never got but maybe one glass out of the whole bottle. Next bottle goes into the secret stash!

Said goodbye to a Saz Jr yesterday and it would have been a sad one, if I didn't know where to get another one. Saz is an excellent whiskey . . . should re-name it Handy Jr.

Killed a Bookers and Baby Saz last night. I'll pick up another Baby Saz, but I'll pass on future Bookers. After having many samples of Barrel Proof BTAC, the Bookers just feels unnecessarily hot.

My bar has taken a hit the last week or so. Drained a RHF, WTKS, and a Lot B. All will be missed very much and hopefully replaced soon.

Blanton's Special Reserve and Virgin 101 marched off this mortal coil last night. The Virgin will be replaced next time it's on special, the Blanton's most likely not.

A 2008 GTS bit the dust tonight. Hello bunker! Finished one during the Wings game. I hope I can enjoy a 2008 GTS during the next 14 Wings victories.

Just arrived in Florida tonight. Got off the plane and went to a nice seafood place for dinner. Had Blanton's for the first time. Not too bad. Guess I'm gonna have to get a bottle when I get back home.:grin: Joe

finally kicked the bottle of Elijah Craig 12 yr. I found the middle of the bottle to be the sweet spot so to speak. Enjoyed this bourbon a lot, but happy to knock off a bottle from the collection.

Finished off a Wild Turkey Rye 101 the other night. Have one in the bunker, but this is not easily available to me. Very luckily, I recently found a store in Massachusetts that's only a little over an hour away that has both the Rittenhouse Rye and Wild Turkey Rye 101.

Finally ended the EWSB 1999. Even after numerous trials over several weeks, this one repeatedly disappointed. It will not be replaced.
