funknik
I am mourning a dearly departed bottle of Lot 'B' Van Winkle. It served me well and I can not easily acquire another one.My wife gave me this bottle for Christmas and when I told her I had finished it (with a sad look on my face) she very sympathetically replied, "I bet you can't wait till next Christmas!" Very funny. :smiley_acbt:
chefnash51
Finished off a bottle of Elijah Craig 12, already have a back up in the bunker. Also to kick the bucket was a bottle of ETL. After two pours, I miscalculated how much was left and decided to pour the rest of the bottle.. whoops... lot more then I realized! ohh well , went out with a bang. That one needed a replacment and one was picked up right away. I was a bit annoyed because the tag said $29, which is a good price around here, paid for it along with Long Trail's Doulbe IPA.. it wasn't til later I realized that my total seemed off. Sure enough they charged me $34 for the ETL, which I would have passed on and gotten elsewhere. it's only $5... but it's still $5 ...which adds up fast. p_elliott
I killed off my first and last bottle of WTKS last night (Thursday night) it was good but not any better if as good as regular WT 101. Certainly not worth the the nearly $50 I paid for it.

funknik
Last night I killed an Old Ezra 7/101 which is a very tasty drink -- I wish it was easier to get another one. I also consolidated & reduced my Old Fitz BIB '66 to a 200ml and killed off a 2008 ER17 this afternoon in Derby prep. I have another ER17 in the bunker but can't imagine opening it anytime soon. . . I think it's a definite follower . . . it tasted delicious last night after a couple Old Ezras, but was bitter and tannic and cognac-y to me today when I hit it first. I'll save the next one for a special occasion.I'm killing bottles left & right.
DeanSheen
Weller Centennial down the hatch. I liked this pour even more as I got into the bottle. I have one in the bunker (thanks OX) but this is one that I am sad to see out of production.
George
Knocked off my bottle of WR. Overall, I thought it was good, though there are other brands I prefer that cost less.

p_elliott
This bottle of ER 10 90 is going to die this morning I don't remember this stuff being this good but this bottle bit the dust in just 2 settings. I need to buy crappier bourbon to make me slow down. Do they make crappy bourbon?

smokinjoe
Sadly, a few neighbors and I layed down a TH Handy last night. It was a thoroughly enjoyed bottle. Down to the very last blackened, gritty, charry, drop. Actually, that last pour...crunchy and discolored as it was...may even have been the best. :yum:
