Your going to have to change that avatar pouring any bourbon down the sink is offensive. We will have to start a new thread about this if it continues  .

He could change it to a bottle of brown vodka aka Canadian whiskey.

naw... that would be to violent. It may discourage Canadian whiskey drinkers from participating.

Had to polish off my first bottle of Pappy 23. The last pour had the same great impact to my taste buds as the first pour months earlier. It has been a long week and Pappy patted me on the back and said "Hang in there" Old friends always know how to comfort. tim

Finished off a WTKS Dark Top '02 yesterday . . . when the Turkey is calling my name, there just really is no substitute. I opened up a bottle of the current 101 to replace it and that stuff is pretty darn good . . . I like the Rare Breed much better, but not $20 better . . . more like $7-10 better.

I'm trying to thin my open bottle stock currently at 28. I always seem to hold on to a bottle with 5-6 pours left just incase someone stops by that may enjoy an uncommon bourbon. Most of friends have sampled them..... its up to my to put them down. Finished off OC12,ER 10yo,rittenhouse 23,and hirsh 16gf. 28 left tim

Vintage 17. Been around for a long time... I think it was a gift.

Was that the 2008?

I got a bottle of that and I'm not a Buffalo Trace fan but that was a good bottle.

Oscar, it was from 2008, barrel 1. I have one more bottle in the bunker.....thankfully.

Fightingcock. Not a bad bourbon but it is what it is. If this one was cheaper then it would be a great deal

$17.98 MI state min. Strictly going by proof it's a pretty good bargain!

It's gone. And, I am out of backups until I get back to the Motherland. As, I don't recall seeing it in my neck of the woods. JTS Brown BIB hit the bin. An excellent, low dollar, pour. If someone told me that this was the only bourbon I could drink, I would NOT be disapointed.

Don't sigh too much. Some of us have never seen it or tasted it.

I'd like the support of those here at SB.com to help me empty some bottles.
