Does anyone know of any good whiskey bars in SOCAL?

I'd like to try some of these bourbons with out buying the whole bottle. I'd like buy the whole bottle but I've got to get it passed the wife.

I'm closer to Orange and Riverside Counties. but have no prob driving to LA.

I can't speak to Orange or Riverside, but there are only a few decent whiskey bars in LA and most are pretty Scotch-heavy. The best are the Daily Pint in Santa Monica and Seven Grand downtown. My recollection is that Seven Grand has more Bourbons and ryes while Daily Pint has the better selection of Scotch.

+1 for Seven Grand -- you won't go thirsty for want of bourbons nor ryes there.
