Bourbon Crusade 2009 at Buffalo Trace

Had the opportunity to sample 6 bourbons out of 17 barrels (one of the Eagle Rare was leaky) at Buffalo Trace today. Great time, good people, and excellent bourbon. Tomorrow is Four Roses and another great day.

The haul will include six BT lablel barrel picks.

A 4R "light" barrel that only had about 24 bottles of juice in it - the people on the trip get first call on that.

A 4R single barrel now and later this fall another 4R unfiltered barrel from a different recipe.
