Trouthead
I stopped in a local liquor store that I seldom go to in my small town of 7000 in central Wyoming. I was shocked looking at the shelves it was like looking at the BOTM selection. The best selection I have ever seen. Van Winkle's ,Blanton, WLW, Stagg, BIB's, Eagle Rare, OGD 114,high end Ryes, Buffalo Trace products, and a few I had never heard of.I never miss an opportunity to go to big liquor stores in big cities, this one beats, Denver, Ft. Collins, LasVegas, Billings, SLC (obviously) and any other place I have found.I hesitate to put the name here, but if permissable I would. The odd thing is that it is just a gas station/quick stop with a liqour store attached. All this in central Wyoming, with Wyoming being a state liguor board state, (all liguor goes through the state distribution system), and it is hard to get the odd ball labels.Anyhow, after years of reading about some of the more esoteric brands, I have gotten to try just about all of them. Old Rip 107 is still my favorite for an everyday semi affordable pour.So anyone on the way to Yellowstone, from I-80 E it is worth a stop.
fishnbowljoe
Trouthead, Be happy. Be very happy. It's great to find a place like that in a state that's not a control state. Enjoy. Joe
cowdery
I have no official standing here, but so far as I know there is no SB rule that would prevent you from naming the store. In fact, I believe that would be viewed as a service to the membership.

HighTower
if only the I-80 was a little closer.....I'd be happy just to get some Peychaud's about now........Scott
Trouthead
I have been out of town for the last 10 days and forgot to check on this post. It is the Popo Agie One Stop. It is the only Exxon station in town and is located on Rt 780 heading north out of Lander, WY towards Riverton, WY. Right across from McDonalds. Can't miss it.It also has a great selection of vodka, and gin, not to mention tequila and rum.
