Tea plantations will often shade the tea plants with big rosewood trees. Eventually they get cut down and the harvested wood is often sent to the U.S. to be used in guitarmaking. cowdery Posted July 3, 2009 Share Posted July 3, 2009 Most predictions for the robust growth of both Scottish and American whiskey in the coming years depend on penetrating China and India, and on both of those economies continuing their strong growth. Indian consumerism seems to be coming along nicely but the Indian government continues to protect its domestic distillers in defiance of international agreements. That hasn't been a problem with China so far, but Chinese consumerism is less developed.So nothing is certain.
