docbible
I have to use a CPAP breathing machine at night. It has a humidifier that can get a little funky from time to time. I started adding a couple drops af bourbon when filling the reservoir with water. Seems to extend the time between cleanings and my nose starts my dreams off at the barrel house. Aside from cooking and the bad bottle draino, what have you used bourbon for? tim

theDon
Also for flavoring my coffee.Decoration: A sexy bottle of bourbon can make any room of the house a little brighter.Occasionally bourbon cleans out my bowels for me.Bourbon is great after brushing your teeth, swish and swallow, never spit! Sijan
This counts as cooking, I guess, but I use it to make a very aromatic bourbon syrup for waffles and pancakes. Makes the entire house smell a bit like a rickhouse. I have considered making the bourbon syrup on Derby Day just for the smell. Relatedly, I have a bourbon-flavored candle.I've used it to test the flame point of alcoholic liquids at room temperature...It has too much sugar to really use it for many cleaning purposes. independant
Not a use for bourbon exactly but while making cinnamon rolls I could not find a rolling pin so a bottle of Eagle Rare stepped up nicely.
