fishnbowljoe
Indy, Do you have any idea where you'll be staying? My wife and I found out about the KBF two years ago. It was about a month before the festival. Closest place we found was twenty+ miles away in Sheperdsville. (Don't stay at the Days Inn there!) I'm not sure about what shuttle service is available. That might only be to and from the special events, from the hotels in Bardstown. Are you going to be there Saturday too?Other than the usual fast food or chain places, Kurtz and Kresco's are a couple of decent places to eat. The only two liquor stores I've been to are Toddy's and Liquor World, but there are a couple others IIRC.As far as coming to the gazebo, like DeanSheen said, bring a glass and a bottle.Hope this helped a little. mobourbon
Try Elizabethtown to stay. It's about 20 minutes or so from Bardstown.

troyce
Check the week before the KBF for cancellations in Bardstown. You'll get in somewhere.
wildcatdon
If you cant find anywhere real close to stay, try the Breckinridge Inn in Louisville...That would only be a 40 minute ride out Bardstown Road into Bardstown,or you can go 65 South and get off at Bernheim Forest and cut over..not too much difference timewise...the festival is fun..Lots to do and see...Have fun..
