chazjaz
I just noticed an add for Buck Bourbon 8 year old at the Bevmo website. I have not been able to find any information on this product and wonder if any of our members have come across this product?
sku
I've never tried it, but it's a Frank-Lin product. They are a California based company. http://www.frank-lin.com/
cowdery
Non-distiller producers (NDPs) like Frank-Linn buy bulk whiskey from someone like Tom Moore or Heaven Hill, which they bottle and sell using brand names they create. There is no Buck Distillery. But if it says it is 8-year-old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, then that's what it is, though that doesn't mean it's any good. chazjaz
Thanks for the help. I see it is ranch hand certified 90 proof. From watching all those B Westerns this must be a rootin' tootin' pour. Marketing--ya gotta luv it.
Phantos
It sounds a lot like a MEXCOR product I recently tasted...which I think is/was the same juice in Old Whiskey River and also now in LA based "POCKET SHOTS".if it taste a tad like OGD probably the same juice I am talking about. tsangster
Just picked up a bottle this afternoon. Two guys at the cash register claim that it's good - tastes similar to Bulliet. They told me this after I had made the purchase. If they had shared this information earlier I would probably have opted for something else. I'll give it a shot when I return from walking the hounds. tsangster
Should've bought the Old Weller Antique. Could have purchased another Alec Baldwin with the extra $6.
