I thought I found an unending supply of it. Imagine the look on my tired ol' face seeing 8 bottles on the shelf no less and no scurrying to get at it. But alas, it's not far to the bottom of me pockets, I did what I could , got me one to drink and pointed my wifes brother to one. I think another buddy will get a couple later this week. Somebody bought all of the rest of them. This shit hasn't been out a week and already is in short supply.

I found a bottle at Thoroughbred Shoppe on Versailles Road in Lexington. I will keep you up to date on other sightings. Have not broken the seal. Should I do it now???

You really should contact your favorite liquor store and see if they will order you some. That might be the only way some people will ever see it.

Too Late, I opened it. Now, I'm just waving the bottle under my nose. $550 shipping and handling seemed reasonable though. If I come across another bottle, I'll forward along with a check (Will you take a personal check?)

That's a fact, While on my travels today I stopped at 2 high end liquor stores, nothing. Rats. I called one the other day and they said George T. What? We have George Dickel. Without bothering to explain it I said Oh Okay. I put a few friends on to it and they told them everything Stagg, is sold before it gets in the store. This is in the good old State of God Gave us Bourbon and we'd just as soon keep it , Thank You very Much , Visit us often in Kentucky. I'm to the point now that I think there's as good a chance I'll find Birthday Bourbon ( not likely) before I'll see Stagg!

At least I got a bottle, 2 , My Bro In Law got one. I will say this if GT Stagg isn't worth driving a hundred miles for Nothing else is worth walking across the street to get.

My boss is trying to order a few bottles to give as christmas gifts to friends and clients. He is going to try and special-order some. I'll let you know if he is successful.

As nice as a bottle of Stagg would be for Christamas, I am hoping for a CASH bonus. That way I can buy whatever I want (Stagg, Birthday Bourbon, Blanton's...etc)

Do you think anyone would be willing to trade a couple of bottles of OF B'day Bourbon for a couple of Stagg? I don't know if this is a good deal or not?! From what I hear a lot of people can't find the OFBB. However my sources have it plentiful..right now. I have six bottles of OFBB...well I guess 3...I put the "disappearing act" on the other three. I want to keep one for my collection, so I have two to play with. Sorry folks, I wouldn't want to sell them now, but a trade for something I can't get would be nice. This may or may not work due to the availability of Stagg?! I'm just trying to create a "win/win" situation if possible. If anyone interested let me know. See ya, H'wood

Dang it. I am sorry, man. I actually told my sister not to waste her time there, because someone said (was it you?) that LB said they already had their allotment spoken for (3 bottles?).

I suggested she call around and check with her old contact on Brownsboro Road (Gary?). I guess she went back to Hurstbourne cuz that's where she and I always buy.

I hope you find some. If not, send me a private message. I just may send you a few sips! No bourbon is worth hoarding when someone else is going dry. (Now, don't anybody else get that idea! It's only for Bobby!)

I don't know about you Bobby, but I think that we helped to push him in the right direction. I suppose a finders bottle, err I mean fee, is in order. Have her drop off one of those at my house and we'll call it even

Thanks Guys , but it isn't nessesary, I'm actually part of the problem, I may explain that later , I am almost to the end of what I planned to do regarding Stagg. I need a life, I mean when the biggest thrill you get is finding a particular bottle of whiskey? Geez! The guy at Liquor Barn at Fern Valley said they wasn't getting but 3 and they told me at Hurstbourne they were getting a lot. There was 5 bottles at Their Westport Road store but are all gone now. I have a 3 pack on order and may get it next week and if I do that will probably be it for me. However I think if I saw Stagg on the shelf no matter where I would buy it before anything else until it is no longer available. I had found 5 bottles of 12 YO WT here and there but it must have been someones idea of great Christmas gifts or Thanksgiving Bourbon, It has dried up. BrendaJ got one maybe she'll let us drink off of her.
