And for that matter I would think those three would still only be about half or a third the price of the Parker's so you should be able to get 1 BTAC as well. DeanSheen
Where the heck is Stranahans getting a 21yr old Rye from? With the choices given I would go with A1 and C2.A1.) I'll take the PHC 07 over the Jeffersons 17 based on personal tastes and put a few extra bucks in my pocket to buy a nice RITT BIB.C2.) Thats just a no brainer, mix and match or grab your favorites. 1 Stagg 1 Weller and 1 Handy all barrel proof!
StraightBoston
I'm in the ND BIB camp as well (and also suspect that they could be found for much less than the PHC...)
onmytrack
I love the PHC's and the JRPS and I haven't tried the Ryes or the BIB's. If you can't get them all then the 3 BTAC's gets my vote.DeanSheen gave you the right mix, 1 each; GTS, WLW & THH. Jim
sailor22
ooops I just realized I aid Stranahan's - I meant High West. Some of the other threads talk about the source.Tasted the Jefferson's 17 last night and that helped make up my mind.I'm going with PH 1st edition and a few BTAC's. Handy, WLW and Stagg. Thanks for your thoughts.

jburlowski
1. Parkers' First edition --- simply better whiskey2. Jeffersons --- take the two-fer3. BTACs --- I'd take the three bourbons4. skip em both --- grab a couple of the 2009 FR Mariage (if you have to pick, take the Rittenhouse)5. the BiBs
BBQ+Bourbon
This is such an easy call! Which one will be most difficult to replace? Do we pick from each line?PH20072JRPS3BTACNo opinon. Spend it on strippers?2OGD + OT.Whiskey is in it's prime around 10-15 years in a barrel. That 27 YO juice can't really be that great. In a blind taste test it would probably not do well. Hell, at 17 years old even a wheater is past it's prime. LOL after I wrote this I looked through the previous posts. Looks like my opinion jives with the rest. If you pass on those BIB pick them up and ship them to me!
