theDon
BIB selection sucks in Tx. We get Tom Moore and Old Fitz.I want some JTS Brown or HH 6 yr BIB. Man that stuff is tasty. Also no Old Rip products or VOB.
fishnbowljoe
I can get pretty much anything here in northern Illinois. It's just a matter of how far I want to drive. The two best places for me are 25 and 50 miles away. Binny's south loop store is a bit farther than that. Roughly 80-90 miles. I have to say I agree with theDon in that it would be nice to see some JTS Brown or a couple other inexpensive BIB's up here though. Joe
OscarV
Van Winkle (any)Now that you mention it, I remember I got a couple of Old Rip 10/107 for Scott/callmeox about this time last year.Anything you want from MI just let me know.

I did say pretty much anything. :skep: I was thinking more along the lines of bourbons currently in production. But a few nice dusties do show up from time to time. Joe

JoeI have to drive down to Peoria, about an hour and five min drive, to get Old Fits. BIB. No JTS Brown anywhere in driving distance. Ditto for Rittenhouse Rye BIB. And my only source of ORVW 10, 107 has run out some time ago and still hasn't got any more in.
George
I find Van Winkle products hard to locate here in CT. I've seen one bottle of Lot B, which I bought, and that's been it. I have also never seen a Weller 12.

CajunKY
Good luck finding that. Only a small trickle will roll out from what I hear. Though stranger things have happened.I'm hoping someone from Washington State will see these posts and take pity on me after Thanksgiving when their next batch is scheduled to be bottled. Has Binny's seen any of their whiskey? I know they have the Gin and Vodka in stock.-Clay

ILLfarmboy
Good God... how does anyone from a control state even gain an interest in good bourbon? LarryG
It would almost be easier to tell you what I CAN get. Stones
All of the above and more! Living on this side of the globe is not so good price/freight wise if you're a keen bourbonite and you want variance from what is on standard offer... Kentucky is so far away... :smiley_acbt:
unclebunk
I'd like to get my hands on JTS Brown BIB and Tom Moore BIB. Nothing fancy, just good cheap bourbon.
smokinjoe
Besides the (primarily) Kentucky only releases (VOB BIB, AAA 10yr) and some of the limited one-offs, we have a pretty good selection in Georgia. BTAC, though limited, even hit (legally, that is) the retailers last year. The only two that I buy regularly out of state, because they are not available here, are Buffalo Trace, Weller 12, and Elmer T Lee. And, I don't believe we get any of the other Barton BIB's. shoshani
I'd like to get my hands on JTS Brown BIB and Tom Moore BIB. Seconded. Also WT 8YO and 12YO, both of which have several outlets online in the New Jersey area but nothing sold in Chicagoland stores.
