Holiday gift packs

I'm hoping to spot the OF Sig set, WT101 with flask, and RB with glasses around here... but so far nothing has popped up. Hopefully here soon, we're usually slow to get things of that sort.

My brother told me last night he found a store that's selling Four Roses Single Barrel in a gift pack that has a nice glass (maybe two?) for, now get this, $22!!! Guess where I'm going today?:grin:

That would be a natural guess, JB. But I rushed over to the liquor store this afternoon and bought all four gift packs and, sure enough, they're Single Barrels! I'm guessing the owner either came across a great deal or he mispriced them.

$14.99 for the WT101 and Flask combo.... That is $8 less than normal for the 750ml by itself.

The rumis good.Not as good as it was 2-3 yrs ago when they had 4 levels. They not have 3 so the did some blending... but it is one of my favorite rumand coke rums... I go 50/50 or stronger and it is great...

The WT101 with flask, not a bad deal at all! I'm really thinking about the WT RB set, I need another Rare Breed, but it's about $38 bucks up here. I can get the bottle (not set) for $28-30 back home.

But, is the $8-10 worth it for making egg nog and the fancy box and glasses? I'm really not sure on that one... dang tough call

In agreement on the WTRB gift box w/glasses....got a couple of sets already from the past. Found RB for $32 in MS yesterday while visiting a co-worker. In TN, it is also approaching $40. If it keeps going up, may have to revisit the standard 101 in the future.

Monday, Joshua and I went on a mostly fruitless shopping spree. However, one store had a gift pack of 4R Single Barrel for $29.99. Two glasses and a $40 bottle, priced at $30? Couldn't pass it up.
