Jefferson's Presidential 17yrs - Different Corks

I have one bottle from batch #2 and one from from batch #3. I noticed that the corks from the two batches are different material. On batch #2, the cork looks like your traditional standard cork, while batch #3, the cork material looks and feels like some type of synthetic (batch #2 seems porous and batch #3 is not).

Is anyone else experiencing the same thing?

My Batch 2 has real genuwine cork. Since the others are synthetic, that makes mine more rare and more valuable, doesn't it?!?!?!
