Bottle of EW1783 finally died off. Not too sad as it's a mediocre bourbon at best to me.

Killed off a 2008 Julio's RHF Series II last night -- I went back and forth on this bottle, but in the end decided I really liked it -- just in time for it to be long gone.

I'm going to save the awesome bottle, though and put something else in it (probably Julio's BT as I bought a 1.75) -- I like having it out on the counter or kitchen table -- it's kinda elegant.

I just finished off a bottle of the Willet estate SB. The best part about this bottle was the bottle itself and I am going to save it and put whatever I am using for a house bourbon in it.

Sent to the bottle grave tonight, a VW Lot B, that had lingered for too long, with just a lonely ounce and a half left in it. Revisiting this, gives me pause about why I chase the dusties so hard.

My dad and I cleaned up the shelf a bit. We sent some AAA10Star and OFitzBIB to the can, and put a hurting on a fresh bottle of RittBIB.

I'm trying to reduce inventory by only drinking from bottles that are already open. An Old Grand-Dad BIB went from open to empty last night.

I just finished off my bottle of WLW 12. My first experience with this bourbon and it did not dissappoint. Wonderful nose with a taste that is very smooth, and sweet. Great price too, I wish they had this in NJ, b/c I would always have this on hand.

I finished a regular bottle of OWA NAS tonight. I have one bottle of OWA 7/107 in the bunker. I think I need to get a couple more bottles. NAS or 7/107, it's all good. Joe

Within the past few days a couple of bottles of OWA (an '06 and a '99) gave up their last pours. They were both very good, and it was sad to see them go.

Set a Parker's Heritage 27 yr down, tonight. Besides being being an extremely nice whiskey, it really is packaged in a very attractive bottle, too. I managed to soak off the main label, and slap it on my beer fridge. :D

Just poured the last of a Binny's Weller 12. Sure is great juice, especially for the price, and I'm glad I have a couple more bottles stashed away. If I only had one bourbon to drink, this would be one of the top contenders.

My wife and I had a neighborhood party at the house last night and we managed to put down a good amount of liquor and beer in the process. A number of people were drinking perfect manhattens and I'm happy to report that they didn't use my Pappy 15 that I had left on the bar...the did kill a bottle of JBB and FR Yellow though!
