What Sparkling Wine are you drinking? New Year's Eve & Day

I know we got some sparkler-lovers out there, so tell us what you're drinking!

As for the wife and I, we attended a wild party at Amy's. We brought and enjoyed (well I did anyway) some good solid Michigan Sparkling wines, both from L. Mawby (Leelanau) which specializes in sparklers.

They were the L. Mawby (methode champenoise) Blanc de Noir and the M. Lawrence (cuve close) Sex brut rosé, both excellent. I had never had Sex before. I enjoyed it quite a bit. Most of us had Sex last night and had a great time.

Sorry. I know, it was too easy.

It was a J Brut Rose NV. I picked it up at the vineyard a few years ago when visiting some SB folks in the Bay area. It's really more of a food sparkler, but it was quite nice.

Moet & Chandon Rosé did it for me and the Mrs last night.

I had a bottle of vintage Leroy chilling in the refrigerator, but after spending too much time in ER's the last two days with family, its still there and my 134.8 proof William Larue Weller suffered a sizable decrease.

We popped the cork on a bottle of riondo prosecco around 11:15.

It's a great sparkler from Washington state.

If it said Cali on the bottle they could triple the price.

Veuve Cliquot NV, all the jokes were funny after that. I did not have one drop but others raved.

Never had a bad bottle of anything from Domaine Ste Michelle. Great all the way 'round.

We had a Mumm Cuvee Napa to ring in the new year. Very nice and a great price!
