Just noticed WT 101 Rye and Sazerac Rye 6Y are listed on the NCABC February price list. Look foward to trying both.

They are both Excellent! The WTRye being a bit minty. The Sazerac showing some sweet cinnamon.

We just got WT rye up in Va not long ago in our state stores. If you like the standard WT you will love the rye.

I must confess, I've never had a proper pour from any of the Wild Turkey bottles. I may have had a Wild Turkey and coke at a football game but never a honest sit down with a neat pour. Trust me it's on my list of things to do. I'll probably do a mini tasting of 101, 101 rye and rare breed at some point.

Do you realize you could go blind from this

And well you should be -- those are two of my favorites. If I have such a thing as a "go-to" bourbon, it's WT101; but of these two ryes, I think I prefer the Sazerac.

But with either, I'm envious. Here in Alabama we have a choice of Jim Beam Rye, Jim Beam Rye, Jim Beam Rye, or Jim Beam Rye.

How does the WT 101 Rye compare with the RR Rye?

I would definitely pick the WT 101 rye over the RR rye.
