birdman1099
Ok Peat Monsters, I need some guidance....I ran across some Scott's selection liquor store. One was a Glenlivet 1970, bottled in 2003. Since I do like the Glenlivet line, this one intrigued me. so I came home and tried to do a little research on it. There is verry little out there about it. I found this site http://www.whisky-distilleries.info/EI_Scott_EN.shtml but no mention of the 1970 Glenlivet. A search here turned up this http://www.straightbourbon.com/forums/showthread.php?t=13046&highlight=scott%27s+selectionbut still no mention.Does anyone have any actual information on this bottle?:skep:

birdman1099
Yeah, I saw that. But it still does not give me anything to go on. I did figure that this bottling may just be too small for anyone to have actually tried one.....
AVB
It was rated SUPERB/Highly Recommended (90-95) by F. Paul Pacult and Wine Enthusiast Magazine. So at least he liked it.
Lost Pollito
I personally haven't found any "bad" bottlings from Scott's. The main thing is that these are usually single barrel. So, You may loose a little depth and gain uniqueness.
