WRMCSO is done for. This one really grew on me and while it was a tad too much wood by itself, it really paired well as a 1/2 - 1/2 mixer with WTKS being the best mix and Lot B coming in second.

I have a bottle of Dant BIB distilled in '74 that is a couple of pours away from empty. I look at it every time I walk into the room and fondly remember the good times we had, and a tear forms in my eye. I'm going to miss it so much. I'm turning to this support group for some emotional succor at this trying time in my life. I am in pain. Come through for me my brothers and give me something to hold on to, some reason for getting up day after dreary day and facing the same numbing routine, a reason to suffer the slings and arrows of another scorching summer. I'm not sure I can go on when it is empty, I'm not sure I can face the endless indignities of modern life without it's company to look forward to. Help me.

Oh for God's sakes Steve pull yourself together!!

I know it's hard as I have been there before, empting out classic bottles every other day. [don't let my wife read this],....but you have to move on.

Maybe when you least expect it, you might be in a liquor store and from the shelf to your heart a new lover comes to you screaming, buy me, drink me, be me,... it could happen, yes it could happen yet again.

There, there, Steve. It's OK. I know, it's tough to let the great ones go. But, just think back to where you were a scant 7 days ago.....There.....You feel better already, don't you. :D

BTW, I think I can hook you up with some replacements. I'll PM you.

I love you for your use of the word "succor". GG!

Another empty RR101 bottle hit the recycling bin.

It's only been about a month since my last one went empty!

I finished off a bottle of Pappy Van Winkle's Family Reserve 20 yo last night. There was just barely one last good pour. It was good to the last drop even though it had been open at least three years, maybe four.

A beautiful tribute. You are my hero.

09 stagg hit the trail. I used part of the last of it to make vanilla extract (a split vanilla bean is soaking in a mini filled with stagg), and then drank the single pour that was left.

Killed my Julio's Baby Saz. This is a really crisp rye that becomes most enjoyable once you let it sit for about 20 mins.
