pepcycle
Sometimes I get a little nostalgic and remember some older posts, particularly where we, as a group, we cogitate on the future. I recalled this post and went back. Its amazing how many of the products envisioned by this group, particularly Chuck, have come to the market since. http://www.straightbourbon.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7804&highlight=four+roses? Chu'Wuti
From what I can tell by reading through many threads, Chuck is extremely well qualified to make development suggestions. I am glad he has been willing to share his knowledge via his book, that's for sure!
OscarV
The most intriguing one was the Four Roses Rye. I'd love to see what Rutledge could do with that. Also an annual release from Wild Turkey in the 15-18 year range.OK Jim and Jimmy, you know what we want, you make it and we'll buy it!
p_elliott
IIRC at the FR seminar during the KBF Jim was asked about a FR Rye and he said down the the road maybe but not right now. Their focus right now is going national with bourbon.
The Boozer
Suspect that 4R doing something with rye is on the same level as HH doing something better with wheat (Old Fitz). Their just not not interested.
pepcycle
So when do we see the first mingling of bourbons from multiple distilleries that are not affiliated. How cool would Wild Buffalo be? Or maybe Heaven's Mark?Talk about new dimensions.
