Went to the doc yesterday due to some leg pain. He gave me a couple of prescriptions. Went to fill them today. Read the labels... NO ALCOHOL. Then realized I had a 10 day supply of pills to take. Enjoy your bourbon fellas. Looks like I'm on hiatus.

I have a similar experience except mine is a bit more permanent. I learned I can still enjoy bourbon but my glass is much smaller and the rest period between glasses much greater. It made my appreciation of all things bourbon greater. My bunker is now operating on an extended lifecycle too:grin:

I'm going in for a stress test Monday and the hospital said I'm not supposed to have any caffine for 24hrs before the test. When I told my wife, she said I'd have to just drink bourbon all day Sunday. Who am I to argue with her?

(If there's any caffine in bourbon, I don't want to know about it)

I'm a diabetic, my medicine said "Do not take alcoholic beverages while taking this medication". I told my doctor that I had a bourbon collection that I wanted to enjoy. We talked about my consumption and her reply was "make sure you eat a little something while having a drink."

Now there are laboratory tests that can be performed to verify what you say so be honest. I passed the tests. So far so good.

Good luck.

Will
