Places to buy Bourbon in KY

I drive through Covington and Louisville on my way to my sister-in-law's in Alabama and was wondering where are some places to buy in those cities or near by?

The Liquor Barn chain in Louisville has a big selection. I haven't been to the new St. Matthews location yet. The one that seems to be most popular with the SB crowd is on Fern Valley off I-65, but that's the smallest, with the smallest selection and fewest parking spaces.

Since you will be coming down I-71 I recommend the Springhurst location. From I-71 take I-265 south. Take the second exit, Westport Road, to the right. Take a right just past Chic-Fil-A, and then a right just past Sonic. It will be on your right.

Jay @ Party Source is top notch. It is right across the river from Cinci. He really knows his stuff. Liquor barn is a huge store and will usually have whatever you want.
